Two Weeks Old

Jackson was two weeks old on Tuesday. We went to the doctor for a "weigh in" and he gained 7 ounces in the last week! He did so well! 

This has also been our first week home alone. Daddy is back to work (we miss him!), but we are hanging in there! Jackson has been so sweet and has let mommy take a shower ever morning! He is sooo good! He either sleeps through it or hangs out in his bouncy seat. During the day we love playing with our barnyard animals (thanks Nana!) Jackson is also sleeping in his crib in his own room now (such a big boy!) He is doing pretty well, but sometimes wants to stay up and play in the middle of the night (for some reason mommy isn't up for playing though!)

We are doing pretty well, but we want to thank our friends and family for taking such good care of us and making our transition into parenthood so much easier! We appreciate the cooking, cleaning, and errand-running! Thanks everybody!
